Again we’re coming back to the USA to continue the trilogy of creating and testing a new Ford Focus RS. In this episode trip begins in Denver, Colorado, with 30 engineers who created this car from the beginning.
Pre-production versions of RS have been camouflaged, along with other cars of Ford’s competitors hit the road measuring 1,000 miles to Arizona desert.
This trip as drivers themselves admit is pure pleasure, which is not like work, but is one of the most important steps in creating a vehicle.
Tyrone Johnson, Ford Performance Vehicle Engineering Manager:
It’s the only way to discover things about the car that you wouldn’t discover in any other way.
